This is the truest thing ever. I especially appreciated the part about being unable to get into the “altered state” needed to give birth when in a freaky cold unfamiliar place such as triage!!!! YUCK!

You’d think that nurses who worked in that area of the hospital would be more cheery, but no. It must be related to the same phenomenon that causes all the most anti-social people to go flocking to customer service jobs. Makes you wonder.
